Singing In The Rain 01/02/21

Grayton Beach State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

But on Cain and his offering, He did not look with favor.  So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.  Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry?  If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.”  ~ Genesis 4:5-7

Look what we woke to this morning!
Pretty interesting, doncha think?

Three o’clock a.m.

That’s what time the neighbors on the other side chose to pack up and move on.  Ugh!!!  Once the irritation passed, I said a prayer for them, because surely no one decides to wake up the campground in the middle of the night unless they have a crisis to attend to.  Right?

It was another rainy day, with a brief respite that was just long enough for us to get out on very short walk around the other campground loop.  Some of those sites butt up against Western Lake.  At one of the empty sites, we noticed what looked like a trail out the back, so we took off in that direction and walked along the lake for a bit before the trail turned and took us back to the campground.  Unfortunately, we had to cut through someone’s campsite to get back to the road.  Yikes!  We hate doing that!

Nice view, huh? I’ll bet it’s really nice on a sunny day!
We haven’t seen those signs for a year or so! : )
Can’t imagine there’s much of a threat though, since the campsites are right at the waterline.
Isn’t that cool looking?!?
Should’ve had Blaine use his app on it, but we didn’t think of it until later. : (
The ground kinda looked like it was covered in cauliflower. lol
I came across this picture on-line. It’s where we were standing yesterday – – where the river enters the ocean. Looks like the ground is snow-covered! Not! That’s how white the sand is here!

We got back home just as another wall of water was about to hit.  It’s supposed to be sunny tomorrow.  We’ll see!

Homemade pizza for dinner!  Oh, SO, good!!!
