A Rainey Day In Georgia 04/11/21

Crooked River State Park, St. Marys, Georgia

Now the LORD was gracious to Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what He had promised.  Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. ~ Genesis 21:1-2        Abraham is around 100 years old, and Sarah around 90 (Gen 17:17).  Ancient to us, but people did live longer at this time.  Still, our previous studies covered the fact that Sarah was well beyond childbearing, making this a miracle child – one that could only be produced by God Himself.

We began our “stay-at-home-and-listen-to-rain-and-thunder-day” by listening to our Pastor Mike back home in Green, for our worship service this morning.

Actually, we really began our day with a lovely sunrise!

We managed to keep ourselves very busy indoors with things like planning our upcoming time at home from May 3 – June 9, baking cookies, servicing the water softener (just before the rain began in earnest!), and a variety of other mundane, household tasks.

Blaine had to figure out why the valence over the kitchen sink is dropping sawdust.
Turns out it needed tightening. Not sure I could maneuver like that! : )

Nothing anyone would be interested in reading – including us.  😊

But you might not want to skip tomorrow.  It promises to be an excellent and adventurous day!

Our day ended with a spectacular sunset!
