Keyhole State Park, Moorcroft, Wyoming
When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.” ~ Genesis 28:16-17 A fitting response from such a vision! The word ‘afraid’ isn’t a cowering in a corner terrified kind of fear, but a sense of reverence and godly fear – meaning, he had as much understanding of the power of God as we humans can muster.
Temperatures seem to swing about thirty degrees around here. You wake up in the morning and it’s near sixty, and by the end of day, it’s up to or over ninety. You start out the day in sweats, and end the day sweating.
Tis a short post today.
Blaine put more stickers on our travel map.
We went for a bike ride on the sidewalk that runs from one end of the State Park to the other. I fell off at the marina due to a very small and sharp turn, but only scraped my leg with the pedal.
There are a good number of hills on this bike/hike trail!
It’s all primitive.
And that’s it! There are no pictures for tomorrow, and I don’t remember how we spent our day. Probably blogging and research. That seems to be what we do with our time off. 😊
