The Rain Continues     8/25/18

Campers Cove RV Park, Alpena, Michigan

He provides rain for the earth; He sends water on the countryside.  Job 5:10

It won’t take you long to read today’s post.  In fact, it’s entirely possible you’ll skip right over it.  It rained again this morning, trapping us inside.  However, it provided the perfect opportunity for me to get caught up and Blaine to do some research.

It’s 9:30am and look how dark it is . . .

The geese don’t seem to mind the rain. They just stood around in it.
Wouldn’t you think they’d seek some type of shelter?

Once the rain passed, the swimsuit clad kids popped up. I think there must some kind of rule (written or not) that there’s no mixed swimming, because the boys showed up and played for a while, then the girls began straggling in and the boys left.  After some time passed, the boys returned and the girls left.  Interesting.  But here’s the most interesting thing – none of them make much noise.  There’s no screaming or yelling like you hear from most kids.  I didn’t realize that was possible.  I guess we just have really noisy kids in Northeast Ohio.  😊

About 3pm, we took off and walked briskly all around the campground.  Blaine took the following picture to share with his electrician friends, but the other one we wanted, wasn’t possible today – too much interference.  We’ll get it later.

This is their panel cooling system. : )
They’re at all the panels throughout the park, except ours. Evidently ours doesn’t get overheated.

More rain this evening . . .
