Faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
It was kind of a down day today, so I finally bit the bullet and went to get my hair cut and colored. I’d been putting it off because my last cut was perfect. It was in Athens, Alabama back in March, and the cut was called Helix. It was like nothing I’d ever seen a stylist do before, and I’m telling you, every hair dresser should have this in their repertoire. I know it requires a special class and scissors. And I’ve not been able to locate another salon that offers this. I called the woman who did my hair and she gave me a toll-free number to get a list from around the country, but I called two times and both times I got a recording. Sigh . . .
My hair was getting unruly, so I finally gave in and got a regular cut.
It’s okay. But I miss my Helix. I’ll keep trying to call for a list . . .
After I returned home, we went for a walk and found a local museum! What a surprise!
In the end, we wound up at the beach just to check out the tons of people enjoying the spectacular weekend.
And we returned for the sunset. It was a bit different, but not enough to take a boatload of pictures again.
