Hooked On Crack 03/15/19

Be holy, because I am holy. ~  I Peter 1:16

This morning Blaine replaced the innertube on my bike.  Remember how it exploded the other day?  And I did laundry.  Pretty mundane things.

Except.

I acquired a new outfit!  For free!

Here’s the story. . . . The day we arrived, I had gone over to check out the laundry facilities – one washer, one dryer – and someone was using them.  There was a pair of jeans and a black shirt folded up on top of the dryer, which I assumed belonged to whomever was using the machines.  It’s now 48 hours later, and those jeans and shirt are still lying there, exactly the same.  So I brought them home and tried them on, and lo and behold – they fit!!  So now I have these new bling jeans and a nice T-shirt!

Nice, huh?

Meanwhile, I also baked cookies and made a snack to take over to Eric and Sandy’s and worked on the blog.  Blaine did paperwork and set out on a solo bike ride.  He goes further and faster when I’m not with him.  😊

Chocolate chip, because they’re the best!
Melt the candy, stir in a heap of peanuts, craisins and M&Ms.
Spread on a parchment covered jelly roll pan, refrigerate until hard, break into bite-sized pieces.
That’s it!

When we arrived, everyone dug into the snack we brought and promptly deemed it as potent as ‘crack’.  So, Donna (Blaine’s sister-in-law) do we thank you for bringing this addiction into our lives?  It really is very good!  And it’s half healthy since it has peanuts and craisins in it.  The other half – white candy-making chocolate and M&Ms, not so much.

A lonely tiny flower trying to flourish in the middle of our drive!

Sandy made us absolutely scrumptious fish tacos, and even though we talked about it, none of us thought to take a picture of the wonderful spread she had!
