A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit. ~ Proverbs 15:13
“…. If you’re happy and you know it, then your face will surely show it . . .”
Did you know this scripture is where that song has its roots? I didn’t. 😊 But it’s very appropriate for today’s post! We’re going home today! And I’m happy! And my face shows it!
Praise the Lord that my vertigo bout was yesterday instead of today! I’m still feeling a little ‘off’, but at least I’m balanced!
About 30 minutes after we left, we were stopped on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. We saw lots of black smoke ahead of us, and while we were at a stand-still for 25-minutes, Blaine tried to find out what was going on. A major crash .3 miles ahead. . . . We prayed no one was seriously injured . . . .
When we reached the PA pike toll booth, we barely fit! Old booths, wider vehicles. Actually, it’s not our vehicle, it’s our mirrors that get in the way. The guy in the booth had to come out to the front of the coach and direct Blaine through! Wonder how often they have to do that?

We covered 2,952 miles this past summer and stayed at 18 different campgrounds! But now we’re back home where we’ll remain until October 28th! We are truly blessed and we know it. Our Father is so very generous to us!
The blog will be on hiatus until then. Check back around November 1st for a quick update as we begin our long time away, covering Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, fly home for Christmas for two weeks, back to Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, and Indiana! Whew!! We’ll return to Ohio September 12, 2020! That’s a really long time away from home! I hope I can make it . . . .
