Countryside was already filled for Memorial Weekend when we made our reservation for the month, so Blaine had to find another place for us to stay. We went to Cutty’s Sunset RV Resort in Louisville, Ohio.
Waaaayyy different than Countryside! We were packed in like sardines and the row they put us in wasn’t paved, so it was full of mud and water from all the recent rains.
But, that aside, it seems like a really nice place for families with lots of activities during the weekend at least. And by Monday afternoon, half the people were gone.
Some of the seasonal people here have ‘homes’ set up. Many are really nice! Mini mobile homes with decks, etc. added.
For the weekend, Blaine had to park the Jeep down the road a piece in an ‘overflow’ parking area – essentially an open field. We heard at least one person got their truck stuck. But after the crowds left, he moved it to our site. We counted – just in our area alone, 30 people moved out Monday!
Work commute time (for 3 & 4 days): 40 minutes for Terri, 35 for Blaine
We better retire soon! We keep getting farther and farther away from work!
