Getting Down to Business

We’ve spent this week taking care of all kinds of things – getting my car tweaked a bit on the accident stuff (I think I didn’t mention that earlier . . . . we were re-ended in Twinsburg, Ohio as we were driving home from ordering our new sofa),

The ‘at-fault’ company opted to repair rather than total. It came in just under the wire! God was watching out for my Mom! And those involved, as no one was injured.

transferring the title to my Mom, cleaning up and cleaning out, getting the new couch installed and dispensing with the old,

The new sleeper sofa by American Leather. Purchase through Sedlak Furniture in Twinsburg, Ohio. Sedlak actually sent two guys out to the campground to install it. Blaine’s mom sewed the pillows for us – same fabric as what’s on our wall. We have an end table on order.

planning meals for the trip to Kentucky, a variety of doctor’s appointments, grandsons’ birthday party (all three at once!), planning Father’s Day, installing new tow gear on the Jeep . . . . just a myriad of things that would be quite boring to write about, I think.

Who says retirees have lots of time???
