I spent all day behind my laptop trying to catch up a bit on the blog, while Blaine did various things that I didn’t really pay much attention to, so engroused in my work was I. At one point, he ventured out for a hike around the campground and came back with surprising pictures of captive birds! Beautiful creatures that I determined I’d see for myself before the day was through. So while we were doing a load of laundry, he took me to the area behind the recreation building (where we had tacos) and showed me what he’d discovered. So many! And so many varieties!
Yes, they’re real!
All this talk about birds, made Leo want to join the party . . . all 19 ½ POUNDS of him!
