Wellness Check 04/13/20

Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Cottonwood, Arizona

Do not speak to a fool, for he will scorn the wisdom of your words.  ~ Proverbs 23:9

We received an unusual phone call today.

Apparently, one of our neighbors was concerned because they’ve not seen any activity at our site.  It was a ‘wellness check’ phone call.  Very nice of them, but one of our neighbors must be exceptionally paranoid.  Or maybe it was one of the volunteers who noticed our Jeep hadn’t moved for about 36 hours or so.  Plus, it was pouring down the rain this morning. Anyway, it’s just one more evidence of the strange times we’re living in.  But hey, now our moms know someone’s looking out for us!  😊

We actually stayed in all day today!  The only pictures I have to share came from our son, Chris again. No Alex this time because he had school work to catch up on. Sounds weird considering no one has school, but that’s the perks of modern technology.

This 3-generational picture was taken this past December at a IBEW commercial electricians meeting.
Father, son and grandson – Ron, Blaine and Chris!
It was recently mailed to us.
“I don’t know, Mom. I looked away for a second and he was out there!”
“I know. He’s Kyle, Jr.”
We raised a kid just like that! : )

And I have another good devotional from this morning to share.

We’re grateful for these rare quiet days!
