We arrived at our new parking place to find that the owners are in their 80’s and trying to sell the park for $500,000. (Wanna buy a nice campground in a quaint, small town?) They don’t advertise anymore, so there are only 6 rigs here. We were blessed to get the best site! We’re on the end with only an old, unused cabin next to us, a former train bridge and a river in our backyard.
With the evening still ahead of us, we took a drive – over a mountain – to see a lighthouse. These lighthouses they ‘advertise’ almost always make us smile or even laugh out loud. 😊
This is the beach the info people told us about. You can’t imagine how hard it is to walk on! All these rocks are round and roll around when you walk on them. I’d love to know how deep they are!
Another stop along our way. Low tide doesn’t look all that great around here. : )
We also found a small marina. This part of Nova Scotia is the tidal basin. There are places where the tide can change as much as 46’ or more! I’ll cover that when we get to it.
