Baby It’s Cold Outside!    9/30/17

Moving day.  It’s cold and rainy.  Yuk!!  A low last night of about 40 and high only up to 57.  Once again, Blaine was my knight in shining armor as he told me to stay inside and he’d take care of all the outside stuff I usually help with.  (Sigh . . .  Where’s a heart icon when you need one?)

We got underway about 11:30am and drove from Vermont to Davenport, New York.  It took about 3 ½ hours mostly on a nice, but curvy road that wound around and up and over mountains.  It was the only way to get from point A to point B.

I had to work on laundry as soon as we arrived.  The washers were too smart for me and I had to call Blaine for help.  Since I had the Jeep, he had to walk.  They were too smart for him, too and we had to call the office for help.  Turned out we pushed the Start button too long.  It required just a swift, light tap.  Any more than that, and they wouldn’t start.  Are you kidding me???  I felt soooo stupid!

All I have for you today are pictures from the road, and one of our new campground.  They’re not great since we were moving, but the scenery really was quite beautiful the entire way!

There he goes. Heading back home and our wide open spaces!
The owner said, “Spread out. I blocked all these spots. It’s the end of the season.”
Wow!

A random house along the road while we were stopped in traffic

I save what I think is the best, for last.
