Sunday morning (well, it was almost noon!) we visited a nice Baptist Church. It was so nice . . . “How nice was it?” . . . it was so nice, we drove to another state to go there! Their service starts at 11am. Late for us as we’re not only early risers, but are used to 9am in Ohio! Honestly, though the drive was only about 10 minutes from South Carolina to North Carolina. Yes, we’re that close to the border. 😊
Very friendly church, but the Pastor wasn’t there today. Instead they had a representative from the Baptist Children’s Home they support. There wasn’t a sermon today, but they had a small choir and the speaker talked a few minutes and showed a video depicting the story of one of their success stories. Although come to think of it, they didn’t say if the siblings were still with them or not. Hmmmm . . . Great story though! With a very happy ending as they gave their lives to Jesus!
After church, we drove about 30 minutes to a laundromat where Blaine dropped me off, and he went in search of our Amazon order – another 20 minutes away. Amazon has this thing called “The Locker” where they ship items and literally put them in a locker for you to pick up. Blaine held his phone up to the screen (he had a bar code), and a random door popped open. It worked perfectly! And it’s great for travelers like us!

Back home for dinner, blog working, and playing with the new signal booster. It works pretty good! Even here in the woods! Which was what we bought it for, so that’s good!
