This is a test.
Quick! Do you remember where this is?
I thought not. Only two people come to mind who may remember where this is, so don’t feel bad if you didn’t. 😊
Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park, White Springs, Florida
It does look different from when we stayed here about two months ago. Gone are the Christmas decorations, and in their place are exquisite azalea bushes and flowering dogwood trees!
We came back here as a last minute decision when Blaine discovered that the place he’d originally chosen had some issues he didn’t think we could overcome. The biggest being the drive in. So here we are! Thankful there was an opening!
We’re sitting in trees, so no satellite, so no TV. So no “This Is Us”. ☹ We are able to receive 3 stations using the antenna, but two of them show the same programs and they’re all PBS-type stations. 😊
Since we had such a long drive today, we didn’t do much else. I took a long walk and photographed all the azaleas. Well, not literally. But I will say, if you don’t care one way or the other about flowers, you’ll be done with this post in no time!
The signs around here say they’re having an azalea festival in two weeks. I hope they’re still around by then because they’re beautiful now! Since I’d already taken my pictures, when Blaine and I went out after dinner, I didn’t have to stop and take pictures. He was very happy about that!
However. I reserve the right to take more because it was very overcast. Once the sun is shining they may look very different! : )
Blaine had a card to mail, so he took off on his bike and rode to town. He wasn’t gone very long. Must have flown! (You’re safe, Phil. It wasn’t for you. 😊)
The following is an illustrative anthology of my stroll around the Park this afternoon!
Enjoy!
