For some really odd reason, we slept in until almost 8:00am today! What?!?!?!?
Then we decided on French toast and sausage for breakfast, and by the time we were done with that, it was practically noon!
Laundry, and . . .
drumroll please . . .
a nice loooooonnnggg one . . . . . . . .
I did it! I finally got caught up on the blog!!!!!!! Yippee-ky-o-ky-yay!!!!!
Now get me outta here! I’ve been inside for too long!
After dinner, we decided to take a quick walk around the campground. There’s supposedly a walking trail here, so we went looking for that.
What we found was a road that ran under power lines.
Well, that’s not something we’ve ever seen on a hike before. : )
And then, we started noticing little blue dots along both sides of the side of the road! Blueberries! Gobs and gobs of them!
Blaine had a hanky in his pocket, so I tied the corners together to make a bag and started picking, while he returned home to grab a quart bag.
As you can tell, I’m very happy about this.
Don’t ask how I felt later tonight . . .
We picked and picked and picked and were quite giddy with our find!
Until the mosquitoes found us . . .
Now we (mainly me) are not so giddy.
But the blueberries are scrumptious!
