Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7
There’s not much today. Hardly even warrants a posting. We left around nine this morning, destination – – Ohio. It was a four-hour, 210 mile drive, plus a 20-minute stop for fuel. Long day for Blaine, but fortunately, it was fairly easy driving this time.
Me? I spent the time organizing “Thanksgiving” (remember, we’re celebrating a month early with family while we’re home) and planning a birthday party. I have to make big lists of things I need for all this, because we no longer carry the stuff with us – things like decorations, wrapping paper/gift bags, table linens, etc. And everyone who’s ever been in charge of Thanksgiving knows about all the stuff you need for that – especially if you have a large family, and we’re expecting 20-25. Oh! We’re not hosting! Heavens no! Blaine’s parents are providing the venue in their home. We just have to take care of everything else.
Can’t wait! I love doing this kind of thing. For family, anyway.

We made it and set up, just as the rain began spitting at us.
No walks around the campground or Park today, we holed up for the night.
