So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will ever fail.”
Ugh! We spent today running to what seemed like dozens of stores. This is something neither of us enjoy, so we rewarded ourselves with a scrumptious late lunch at Nigel’s. We ate here last year and remembered how good the soul food was! We didn’t have soul food this time, but we did enjoy their Geechie Wings again! Oh my is their sauce delicious! In fact, our server this time mentioned that they sell it, so we bought some. Besides the wings, Blaine ordered a Po’boy fish sandwich (which was enormous) and red rice (but he said the serving he had at the Crab House was better). I love the Geechie sauce so much, I ordered a Geechie chicken sandwich and hushpuppies. Yummy!
Then we had to go home and find a place to put everything away. . . .
We now have a couple of presents under the tree!
But they won’t stay long. We have to pack them up to take to Ohio with us.
