. . . He (God) made David their king.  He (God) testified concerning him:  “I have found David, son of Jesse, a man after My own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.” ~ Acts 13:22

This is one of our less eventful days.  Guess it’s time for us to move on.  😊

We used to keep whole peanuts on hand back when we had a house with a deck and were surrounded by woods on two sides.  We had a lot of squirrels, and we enjoyed feeding them a few nuts, and watch them eat.  Some of the little critters were bold enough to take them right from our hands!

There was a squirrel outside our door this morning.

Blaine decided to re-live (sort of) our days in a sticks and bricks home, and tossed a few shelled peanuts (the free ones we got Saturday but hadn’t eaten yet) to him.  The squirrel really enjoyed that!

And pretty soon, others were eager to enjoy the treat too.

At one time, he 7-8 of them congregating in our yard.  To which I said, “What are you gonna do when they decide they want more and you don’t give it to them?”  He didn’t seem concerned, but I spent more time with our Ohio squirrels.  I knew they could be pretty persistent.

I don’t have a picture to back me up, but it wasn’t long after the feeding stopped before one of the little rodents was bold enough to leap up onto our screen door.  Fortunately, there was no damage, and he gave up quickly when neither of us responded to his demands.  Never, ever give in to terrorists!

After lunch, we got outside for a bit.  We rode our bikes down to the boardwalk trail – – again.

Magnolias getting ready to bloom! Too bad we’ll miss the gorgeous flowers!
A wild squirrel. : )

Not much new there, but then we ventured over to the exercise area in the Park.  We’d seen it before, but there were always people around, so I didn’t take pictures.  There was a similar, but much larger one at Markham County Park in Sunrise, Florida, but again, there were always people using the equipment, so we never took a picture.  Who would ever want their picture taken while they’re exercising?

Me!

You sit and then pull down . . .
. . . and not only do the bars come down, but your seat lifts up.
Kinda like chin ups! Only I could do these easily!
Not nearly as difficult as I’m making it look. I’m just funnin’. : )

But only because I wasn’t really working out – just trying it out.  😊

That’s enough excitement for one day, don’t you think?
