Therefore watch yourselves very carefully, so that you do not become corrupt . . . ~ Deuteronomy 4:15b-16a

The view will be considerably different once a neighbor shows up . . . .
Blaine is still experiencing sharp left knee pain. I may have to venture out on my own and bring him back pictures . . . . I’m not afraid, or nervous about that, but I don’t want to leave him behind knowing how much he wants to go – but can’t. It’s different than those rare occasions when he leaves me behind. In those cases, I don’t want to go. Big difference!
Fortunately for him, because he doesn’t like being laid up, it was rainy some today.

Placing a propane tank at the cabin next door.
Watch out for those bats!
We took a walk around lunchtime and discovered why the swimming area was closed.

Couldn’t decide which picture I liked better – the realistic one, or the artistic one.

We weren’t sure what it was they were trying to accomplish. Seemed like they were filling in the swimming area, so we stopped by the office on our way home and asked about it. According to the woman there, they dam upstream to slow the water flow and then dredge and move the rocks around. Seems they do this every year, and they’re hoping to have it done by Saturday. They also have to close it until the trout, salmon and (something else) are the proper size. Whatever that means. . . .
It’s a really neat idea, swimming at the base of a waterfall! Wish we could try it, but we move Saturday morning. Darn! ☹

We put it back in the bushes.
Tonight, we received some bad news from back home. It seems our youngest grandson (3 years old), Kade is having some pretty serious eye issues. We sent out prayer requests to all our prayer warriors back home, but can always use more. I’ll update as we have news, but it might be a while. His next appointment isn’t for a whole week! Thank you.
