A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones. ~ Proverbs 12:4
Basically, I sat around in pjs and slippers all day.
I told Blaine yesterday that I needed a day off.
Of course, a day off for me just means a day off from running hither and yon. My days off always seem to have me chained to my chair and laptop as I attempt to get caught up. This trip, I’ve been able to resign myself to being so far behind, maybe because it’s not really under my control. It doesn’t matter how caught up I am with my writing, or editing pictures, or finding scripture to begin the day’s post, or any number of other little tasks that need done to create this post; if the internet doesn’t work at top performance (or at all), there’s quite literally nothing I can do.
However, I’m very grateful for what we do have. 😊
Meanwhile, Blaine took a seven-mile bike ride to town and back. For the second time since we arrived here. I’ll venture out one day to do the same, but not today.
The only pictures I have to share are a couple that Blaine took and the ones my daughter-in-law sent me of the kids. Thanks, Shena! Looking at my smiling, happy babies was a nice break in the day!
When I was getting pictures ready for this post, I realized something . . . I never put in the pictures of the grandkids holding newborn Cooper! Ooops!
My behind is paining me now. I’m done for today.
ADDENDUM: Someone set off fireworks out in the lagoon tonight at 9pm! They weren’t large or high, but still, mini fireworks are better than no fireworks. 😊
