Two Hundred Miles Of Bad Road 09/10/19

Chenango Valley State Park, Chenango Forks, New York

A wise man fears the LORD and shuns evil, but a fool is hotheaded and reckless.  ~ Proverbs 14:16

We took off a little early today because we needed to stop at a rest area at 10am so Blaine could make reservations for Texas.  It just added a little extra time to our 4 ½ hour, 211-mile trip into Pennsylvania.

I took this for the car enthusiasts out there. : )
Lots of traffic and tons of trucks today!
Best picture of the day award!
I’ve always liked willow trees. You don’t see many anymore.
I’ve heard that’s because their root system interferes with plumbing.
Wonder how many times that barn’s been hit? Yikes!

Once again, I had planned on spending about 3 hours on the blog, but the roads were the worst we’ve been on in a very long time!  You can’t edit pictures or even type when the coach is bouncing all over the place.  So I read instead.

Gifford Pinchot State Park, Lewisberry, Pennsylvania

They really need to do some tree trimming on this Park road!
This picture doesn’t do it justice.
There was no one here to check us in, or tell us how to get where we needed to be.
I think that’s the first time that’s ever happened.
Blaine managed to find our spot though.

And I have nothing else for today.  But tomorrow promises to be more interesting.
