Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish him with the rod, he will not die. Punish him with the rod and save his soul from death. ~ Proverbs 23:13-14
Today was a stay-at-home day.
It began by watching a dump truck enter our campground and dump a huge load of gravel. Blaine’s comment? Mr. I-worked-construction-most-of-my-adult-life? “It sure doesn’t take much to entertain you, does it?” He’s right, of course. But then he usually is. It’s his cross to bear.
And then the truck returned hours later with another load, but I didn’t take pictures this time. 😊
Just after the first load, I received a text from my sister-in-law, Kelli. My nephew’s 15th birthday is in a few days and she set it up so we (as in everyone, not just us) could send birthday greetings, in lieu of a get-together since we’re not allowed to get together these days.
It took me about three hours, (mostly because I’ve never done it before), but I got a video together. It allowed me to be creative, and I had a blast! I watched it over and over, and Blaine watched it a couple of times, and then we submitted it.
And then, we discovered it had a type-o in it!!! I was sooooo upset! Ah well. I suppose there are worse things in life, but now everyone who sees it will forever believe I can’t spell. And I do indeed know how to spell ‘occasional’ – – and it’s NOT with a ‘t’!
Heavy sigh . . . . .
Here’s my creation. You can watch if you promise to overlook my error.
