Much Ado About Nothing 05/08/20

Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Cottonwood, Arizona

Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding.  ~ Proverbs 23:23

Blaine worked on our water softener, rented a boat for our visit to Lake Powell in two weeks and I worked on the blog today.  That’s it.

Oh.  And it took him an hour and seven minutes on the phone to make the boat reservation.  So now we know for certain that we’ll be leaving the Sedona/Flagstaff area for good!  Yay!!!  Goodbye Mt Humphreys and Jerome!  We enjoyed our time here immensely, but it’s time to move on.

For those of you who don’t know, Lake Powell is in the very north center of Arizona, right along the Utah border.  In fact, if you look at a detailed map, our campground actually covers both states.  😊

Sorry.  Just one more thing.  Breaking news from this evening, after dinner.  Our power went out.  Not the campground’s, ours.  That means the air conditioning went out too.  pant . . . pant . . . drip . . . swipe . . .

Fortunately, we have our own in-house electrician!  Since it was dark out, he did his thing and was able to just cut back on the air some.  He’ll look at it tomorrow.

Oh.  And one more thing.  Our son took his three sons (remember ‘My Three Sons’??) up to Lake Erie to play today in the 33⁰, 25mph wind.  They had a blast!

From left to right –
That’s Alex, Max and Cody

And we went outside momentarily to watch the super moon rise.  Gorgeous!

Now. Really.

THE END
