Then the LORD said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached Me. If not, I will know.” The men (two of them, the angels) turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the LORD. ~ Genesis 18:22 Do you think God didn’t know about Sodom and Gomorrah? Does He really have to go there, or send emissaries (the angels) in order to find out for Himself? No. He knows Lot lives there, so He’s informing Abraham of what He’s about to do. Also, how wonderful that He is sharing this information with him. He doesn’t have to. He’s gently teaching Abraham about His omniscience, and power, and grace.
It’s moving day! Today’s the day we park ourselves about 10 minutes from Blaine’s sister’s for the next 13 nights! We’re really looking forward to spending time with them, especially since we haven’t seen them for two years!
Since we had a short drive today, we had time to ride around the Park one last time.
Again, we didn’t see anyone using it, but then again,
the Park’s closed except for Sunday and Monday.
There was a ton of traffic for most of the drive today. Add to that strong crosswinds and some unexpected rain, and you have a stress-filled 97-mile, one-hour and fifty-minute drive. Blaine managed with excellence! Even when we were almost side-swiped a few times. You always hear about the slow pace of the Southerners, but that’s never been the case in Florida. Probably because so many of them are transplants from the North.

Blaine had to secure this site a year ago, and at the time, he said there were only two choices left and he had to make a quick decision. I’d say the Holy Spirit helped him out tremendously! We love our new homestead! It’s large, and private, making you feel like you have more room than you actually do, and waaay more room than some of the other sites here.
It was bike ride time after we got set up! I’m pleased to tell you that the combination of being in better shape, and tilting my bike seat, made the ride in the hills (yes, there are actually hills here!) much more enjoyable for me. It’s amazing what a slight tilt of the seat can do!
The observation tower here is sitting on a hill that’s been deemed the tallest natural hill south of Lake Okeechobee. It’s a whopping 86’!! Compare that to the 14,000 ones in Colorado. 😊
We think that’s the city of Jupiter on the horizon.
Tomorrow we see family!
