Last Resort Campground, Hanna, Indiana
Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide (Jehovah Jyra). ~ Genesis 22:13-14 God provides. He always provides. He always cares. He always forgives. He is infinitely patient in allowing us to grow into His likeness. He always loves.

Actually quite a few trees in the campground are shedding.
It looks like it’s snowing around here! : )
This tree is right outside our door. Blaine looked it up. It’s a Black Willow tree.
There’s not a lot to report from today. We mostly just relaxed and talked about what we believe the upcoming summer might look like. Of course, that’s all in God’s hands.
And I began work on yesterday’s blog post.
We also took a walk down the nearby back roads. Besides Route 30 and its traffic, we saw a lot of farm land. Our walk took us by corn, alfalfa, soy bean and wheat fields, and a large mulberry bush.

Blaine’s app took the pictures when we stopped,
but for some reason he was unable to move them to join our pictures, so I had to go online.

We’d heard of alfalfa, but were curious about what it’s used for. According to our Google search, it’s mostly used in animal feed. But that weird thing? It’s also toxic. Seems like maybe it shouldn’t be eaten? What do we know….

It’s already flowered, but look at the pictures I found online of when it’s in bloom!
That would be a sight to see!

Mulberry bushes are used to “go ‘round . . . early in the mornin’.” That’s all we know of them. 😊

There were also high tension power lines running through some of the fields. There was so much power there, we could hear the static electricity crackling! Gave my former electrician husband the willies!

And that’s it for today. Short and sweet.
