Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. ~ Psalm 127:3
Some day we’ll sleep again. Between the expressway traffic and last night’s thunderstorm, it’s not been very conducive to sleeping. We’ve not slept more than a few hours each night in a week.
For two solid hours last night we were blessed with deafening torrential rain, sharp claps of thunder and brilliant flashes of lightning, and wind (but not too bad), as well as some small hail at times.
We moved again today, just across the way. Easy move. It’s because we came in a day early, so they were able to give us a place for the night, but the site we were on had a reservation today, so we had to move to our reserved spot.
That’s only thing I did today besides try to catch up on the blog, and field phone calls and text messages. Blaine went bike riding and tried out his new chair – which he loves by the way.
Why the phone traffic today?
We were having a baby!! Our oldest, Chris added a fourth son to his entourage today when Matthew Dean, grandchild number seven (6th grandson) entered our lives this evening! This makes a total of 13 living men in the family carrying on the “Peck” last name. That’s a lot!
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!!!!
