When Joseph came to them the next morning, he saw that they were dejected… “Why are your faces so sad today?”  “We both had dreams…but there is no one to interpret them.”  Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God?  Tell me your dreams.” ~ Genesis 40:6-8     These two servants of Pharaoh were accustomed to being in the presence of Pharaoh’s ‘wise men’ who were tasked with things like trying to interpret dreams, but as Joseph pointed out; only God can provide true interpretations, and only through godly men.  Joseph is about to use his gift.  Do you know what your spiritual gift(s) is?  Do you use it for His glory?  Or do you hide under self-deprecation believing falsely that you have nothing to give?  God gives gifts to ALL His children!  And according to the apostle Paul, they “are the work of one and the same Spirit, and He gives them to each one, just as He determines.” (I Cor 12:11)  And so it is the will of the Holy Spirit to determine who receives which gift.   Using our gifts brings about furtherance of God’s Kingdom, and brings Him Glory; helping other believers as well as touching the lives of non-believers.

The winds were so high and blowing the wrong direction, that Blaine spent nearly all of our 150-mile, 3-hour drive trying to keep us on the road.  The narrow roads.  The mostly two-lane roads with very high speed limits.

It was overcast all day, too, which makes for easier driving because you’re not squinting in the bright sunlight that fills our giant windshield, but makes for horrible pictures.

Leaving Brazos Bend.
70?!?!?!? On this skinny two-lane road?!?!?!?
No way, Jose!!!!
H-E-B is the popular and large grocery chain around here. (Meaning Texas I think)
Bealls (pronounced bells) is kinda like Kohl’s. Also very popular in the South.
Entering Rockport-Fulton.
It seems the two towns are kinda like twins.
Often interchangeable where the locals are concerned.

Coastal Breeze RV Resort, Rockport, Texas

We made it! Blaine can rest his arms now!

The most important thing?  We made it!  And even though the sites are kinda close together, it seems like a nice place to stay.

Which is very good, because we’re planted here for the next 28 days.
