The Third (and final) Move!

Moving 3 times in 6 weeks is NOT recommended!  Even if you ARE organized!  We were pretty tired by the end!

Well, we’ve finally made it to our house on wheels!  In Ohio, campgrounds don’t open until May 1st.  Fortunately for us, Countryside in Mogadore was willing to let us in on Saturday, April 29th!  Another God thing!

Once again, I felt overwhelmed as I looked at the things we’d brought with us and sat them all over the RV.  I looked at the empty cupboards and wondered where everything would go.  I had to psych myself up, “You did this when you moved into the house, you can do it here.  You did it when you moved into Ron and Joan’s (the in-laws), you can do it here.  You did it when you moved into the apartment, you can do it here.”

It rained all day and was quite cool when we moved in. Yuck!!

The pictures don’t really do the mess justice, but you can get a really good idea!

I started with what I knew – the kitchen.  Then moved to the bathroom, then the bedroom.  It took us several days, but by the end of the first week, almost everything had a place and everything was in its place and I felt MUCH better!

Now, where are we going to put the rest of the stuff that’s still in the in-law’s basement that we need . . . .

Countryside gave us a wonderful site!

They also have goats and chickens on the property, in addition to the wild stuff – rabbits, raccoons and la variety of birds that we saw

God continues to bless us!  It was a small, very quiet place to stay –  at least for the month of May.  It was there we decided to make some modifications to the coach.  As we tried to put things more in order, we discovered we (at least I) needed to put things in bins to keep our stuff organized.  (I told you, it’s a gift . . . 😊) We measured, bought, and filled the bins (more are still needed, tho).  We also converted the bathroom closet into a proper linen closet as Blaine removed the clothes bar and put in shelves.  In addition, we decided that we didn’t want nor need a washer/dryer, so those were put on Craig’s list.

It’s now a much needed utility closet!
