I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark – you and your sons and your wife and your son’s wives with you. ~ Genesis 6:18
It’s practically freezing here today! And heavily overcast.
After watching our church online, we bundled up and headed for the beach. We had to dig out old shoes to wear, because it was far and away much too cold to go barefoot, or flip-floppy, and we didn’t want our canvas tennis shoes to fill with sand.
Fortunately, the waves were practically non-existent today, so we were able to walk on the hard sand near the water. The people were practically non-existent as well. There were only a handful of brave souls who walked with us. Since it was so calm, and only a slight breeze, we ended up with a whopping 6 ½ miles under our belts!
We walked so far, we had to visit the little girls and boys room before we rode our bikes back to the coach. I had so many layers on, in addition to a long coat, I think it took me about 10 minutes to get put back together! 😊
Good thing we walked so much, since we sat the rest of the day. And filled our bellies with Mexican fare, and other good-but-not-good-for-you things.
Blaine and his family and friends were quite animated over the upset of the Browns/Steelers game! 48-37! I’ll let Blaine tell you all about it.
From the very first snap of the game, the Browns were blessed with some lucky plays that went their way. The Steelers were generous with four turnovers, that the Browns capitalized on in a big way. It was quickly 28-0 by the end of the first quarter, and the Browns continued on for a huge win.

We can only hope the Buckeyes do as well tomorrow night!
It’s supposed to rain again tomorrow. ☹
