The Magical Place     7/27/18

Penn Lake Park Campground, Marathon, Ontario, Canada

He covers the sky with clouds; He supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills.  Psalm 147:8

Day Two of rain.  And it was also Day Two of battling the laptop.  I managed to get the Lake Superior post done at least.  And I started on the next one.

My darling husband, my Superhero, went all by his lonesome and did laundry so I could work.  And he only called me two times!  What a man!  I’m sooooo lucky!

By midafternoon, I’d had enough and suggested we walk.  The rain had mostly let up, so he took me to the trail that circumnavigates Penn Lake.  “Keep your eyes open!  This place is magical!”  (remember, he already walked around the other day)

And it was!  And I think even more so because of the damp and darkness of the day!  We don’t know who or when or why, but it was certainly nothing like anything we’ve ever seen before!

J Penn Lake – at least a small part of it.

Into the woods we go . . . .

What?!?

There were waaaay more things than I took pictures of, and I took quite a few pictures!

Sometimes there were just random things hanging along the way.

Some places just had these windows or doors attached to the trees.

This one was Blaine’s favorite.
We don’t know what the “stick” is.

Thus ended our magical walk.  Now back to reality and the battle that lies before me . . . .
